Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (ASJNU) is a private school in Guangzhou with a focus on serving the children of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents, as well as expatriate families. Curriculum
The school’s curriculum is a key feature of its educational model. It combines the Chinese national curriculum with a number of international teaching methodologies. This blend aims to provide students with a strong foundation in Chinese language and culture while developing a global perspective. A significant portion of the curriculum is taught in English, and the school also incorporates interdisciplinary learning to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The school is also accredited by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority as an “exam school” for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE), which provides a clear pathway for students to continue their education in Hong Kong.

A large portion of the faculty, more than 70%, are from Hong Kong, are expatriates, or are returning from overseas studies.
